As March begins, we eagerly embrace the arrival of spring, a season of renewal, fresh beginnings, and vibrant flavors. With the promise of warmer days ahead, we're excited to share the latest happenings at Verde Cocina and invite you to join us in celebrating the joys of the season.


Farmers Markets

Don't forget to visit our food stand every Saturday at the Portland State University Farmers Market from 9 am to 2 pm at SW Park. Enjoy the best of local produce and culinary delights in every dish. We'll be at the Shemanski Farmers and Lake Oswego Farmers Markets starting in May, and in June you can find us at the OHSU Farmers Market. See you there!


  • Shemanski Farmers Market: Wednesdays starting May 1, 10 am - 2 pm at SW Main
  • Lake Oswego Farmers Market: Saturdays starting May 11, 8:30 am - 1:30 pm at Millenium Plaza Park
  • OHSU Farmers Market: Tuesdays starting June 4, 10 am to 2 pm at Mac Hall Lawn


Featured Cocktails

As we prepare for the festivities of St. Patrick's Day (March 17), the arrival of spring (March 19), National Cocktail Day (March 24), and Easter (March 31), we invite you to sip on this month's featured cocktails crafted with the flavors of the season. 


  • Pomegranate Prosecco Spritz: A delightful blend of pomegranate, prosecco, and a dash of Aperol. 
  • Lemon Blueberry Daiquiri: Treat yourself to this zesty daiquiri crafted with lemon juice, blueberry syrup, organic agave, and white rum. 
  • Lemon Blueberry Agua Fresca (non-alcoholic): If you're looking for a non-alcoholic mocktail, the Lemon Blueberry Agua Fresca is the perfect choice, featuring the same delightful blend of lemon and blueberry, but without the alcohol, and topped with sparkling mineral water.
