Verde Cocina's Horchata French Toast


Looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth? Verde Cocina’s Horchata French toast is a twist on the classic breakfast dish that incorporates flavors of horchata, a Mexican and Spanish beverage made with rice, cinnamon, vanilla, and sugar.


At Verde Cocina, we use challah bread and lightly dust it with powdered sugar and pure maple syrup, topped with fresh seasonal berries.


The Horchata French toast is a great option for those looking for gluten-free brunch items. We recommend pairing it with one of our newly featured Metolius hot teas or a grapefruit mimosa.

Brunch is available at both Verde Cocina En La Perla and Verde Cocina in Hillsdale locations Monday through Friday from 9 am to 1 pm, and Saturday through Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm.
