May Celebrations
Celebrate Moms, Market Season, and Moments that Matter at Verde Cocina
As spring blossoms around us, we at Verde Cocina are filled with gratitude—for your continued support, for the changing seasons, and for the opportunity to celebrate meaningful moments together.
Mother's Day is just around the corner, and we invite you to honor the incredible moms in your life with a special brunch or dinner at Verde Cocina this weekend. Whether she's a new mom, grandmom, stepmom, auntie mom, single mom, working mom—or any kind of mom—she deserves to be celebrated. On Sunday, May 11, we're offering all moms a complimentary glass of sparkling wine or refreshing agua fresca with the purchase of an entrée. Come raise a glass and share a delicious meal in a welcoming space filled with love, flavor, and community.
We also want to thank everyone who joined us earlier this week for Cinco de Mayo! It was a joy to celebrate the rich heritage, culture, and resilience of Mexico with you. At Verde Cocina, we bring tradition and creativity together—combining Mexican ingredients with Pacific Northwest produce to craft unique dishes you can't find anywhere else. Missed the celebration? Don't worry—our traditional margaritas are still available. Ask your bartender about our current seasonal margarita!
And finally, we're excited to announce that farmers market season is underway! You can now find the Verde Cocina food stand at the Shemanski Farmers Market (SW Park & Main) every Wednesday from 10am–2pm, as well as the PSU Farmers Market every Saturday from 8:30am–2pm. Stop by, say hello, and grab a fresh bite made with local love.
From Mother's Day to farmers market days, thank you for making Verde Cocina a part of your spring traditions. We can't wait to welcome you in.
Sincerely,
Noé & Anne Garnica
