As we step into September, we begin to feel the crisp fall, and we see the vibrant colors of fall start to paint our city's new seasonal landscape. This time of year holds special significance at Verde Cocina as we celebrate the rich cultural tapestry of Hispanic Heritage Month, taking place from September 15 to October 15. It's a time to honor the traditions, stories, and flavors that have shaped our community.

As we celebrate this month, we also look forward to raising our glasses on September 16 to commemorate Mexican Independence Day! It's a day of pride and remembrance, and at Verde Cocina, we're excited to share the culinary Mexican traditions that are so close to our hearts with flavors of the Pacific Northwest.
