Celebrate Father's Day at Verde Cocina

A Special Father's Day Dinner

As the sun shines brighter and Father's Day approaches, we extend a warm invitation for you and your family to join us in celebrating this special occasion at Verde Cocina! Father's Day is a time to honor the dads and dad figures in our lives, and what better way to do so than with a memorable dinner experience at our Perla or Hillsdale locations.

Our chefs are preparing signature dishes that dad is sure to love, like our Carne Asada, Verde Enchiladas, Street Tacos, and more. From savory grilled entrées to refreshing salads, every bite is a tribute to the love and appreciation we have for our fathers.

New Cocktail Menu

Verde Cocina has some exciting new cocktails, curated exclusively for us by award-winning local bartender Adriana Garnica-Alvarez (who also happens to be a family member, married to Noé's brother, Jose).  These cocktails feature unique Mexican distilled ingredients, some direct from Guanajuato, Noe's family's home state in Mexico, and new mezcals and rums as well.  Combined with Pacific Northwest ingredients like local Metolius Tea's Chai and Lavender Syrups, Adriana has created a beautiful blend of both worlds — which is what Verde Cocina is all about!

We will officially release the new bar menu during the month of June. Read below to learn more about our new cocktails.

Oaxacan 75: Inspired by the classic French 75, featuring Oaxacan Mezcal Banhez, Aperol and sparkling wine.

Valle de Guanajuato: Featuring Guanajuato-made Abasolo Ancestral Whiskey, this drink tastes like a warm, freshly made corn tortilla.

Callejón del Beso: Named after the famous landmark in the city of Guanajuato, this "Alley of the Kiss" uses the romantic combination of aloe and bergamot liqueurs and Mezcal Union.

Chavela: The Mexican nickname for Isabela, this cocktail is named after one of Noé's sisters, and is a unique take on a MaiTai that blends our lovely reposado tequila with Metolius Tea's Chai syrup.

Mariposa Monarca: Monarch butterfly sanctuaries dot the geography of Central Mexico, serving to protect their annual migration from as far north as Canada. This fruity creation features Uruapan Mexican Rum, strawberry infused Campari, lime and pineapple syrup. Proceeds from the sale of the drink will be donated to protect the path of the Monarcas Mariposas in the US and Mexico, and other pollinators here in the PNW.

Plus we have new non-alcoholic concoctions! Try Anne's Lemonade made with Gin Free and Metolius's Lavender Syrup, and A La Temporada, with Orange Spirit Free, Metolius Vanilla Syrup and seasonal fruit!

We are very excited about these additions! Come in to either the Hillsdale or Pearl location and try one (or two!) today!
