Verde Cocina featured in Oregonian A&E, Feb 3, 2012
If you haven't seen it yet, check it out: an amazing article by Oregonian Food Writer Michael Russell, featuring what's new in Mexican food in Portland -- and what could fit that bill better than Verde Cocina? Mr. Russell told us he was a fan of our farmers market offerings and we are so excited to be included in his article, along with amazing photographs by Jaime Francis. You can see the whole family there!
Join us as we grow and share our unique Mexican flavors and farm-to-fork fare with more and more people!
We now have lots of local beer and wine, as well as handmade margaritas and a selection of fine tequila.

Verde Cocina is a Pacific Northwest farm-to-fork food company. We are proud farmers market hot food vendors, wholesale food product makers, and now Verde Cocina has its first cafe.
We opened the doors for business very quietly on August 10. Thank you for all the incredible support we've found in Hillsdale! We couldn't be more thrilled.
You can still find us at the farmers market...
And during the regular season (Portland Farmers Market at PSU starts March 17):
As always, we also offer catering services for small events.
Contact us at info@verdecocinamarket.com or (503) 384-2327.
DON'T PANIC! If you drive by this week (May 15-17), and notice that we're closed, with equipment out on the sidewalk, don't worry! We're just renovating! A small kitchen change will make things tremendously easier for us to serve you well!
COMING SOON:
-- Draft beer
-- A new website!
-- Improvements everywhere!
Thank you for your patience, but we'll be back open this weekend... (OK -- fingers crossed -- you know how reno's sometimes go...). But check us out soon!
